The mid-range petrol variant of Toyotas new-generation city car spoils some good attributes with its price positioning.

The Yaris didnt feel out of its comfort zone on the freeway, reflecting an increased maturity to the way the city car drives. Its not quite the Corolla Junior. Its on-road manners, while good, are as impressive as those of the bigger Toyota hatchback.
